Alternatively, visit the "Taiwan Tourist Shuttle" official website, select [Outlying Islands → Penghu County → Penghu Airport Express → Bus Estimate], to check the latest vehicle status. 
If using a mobile device, we recommend downloading the "iBus Public Transport" App and entering the route number 004 in the search bar for live service updates.

Q2: I want to find the bus number that stops at a specific attraction. How do I proceed? 
A2: Enter the attraction keyword on the [Attraction Info] page to search. The website will list all bus route numbers serving that attraction. You can then check the real-time dynamic information for these bus services.

Q3: How can I find out which attractions a particular bus route covers? 
A3: On the [Bus Estimate] page, use the drop-down menu to select the bus service you wish to query. The website will display a list of all attraction names along that route. You may also click on any attraction name to view all bus routes that pass through it and check their real-time status.

Q4: How can I plan a bus itinerary from Point A to Point B? 
A4: Upon entering the [Directions] page, input your departure point and destination, and select your preferred planning method, departure time, settings, and mode of transport. After clicking the "Search" button, the system will display suggested itineraries below based on your configuration, or directly redirect you to Google Maps to help you plan the most suitable route.

Q5: Can I view the latest announcements from Lion Express on the website? 
A5: Yes, please visit the "Latest News" page. We regularly update announcements regarding Lion Express activities and events.

 

Ticketing and Service Info

Q6: Can I book travel tickets through the website? 
A6: You can click the [Book Tickets] page to browse various ticket types and use the provided links to visit our partner websites for online reservations and purchases.

Q7: What are the travel options for getting to Penghu? 
A7: Please refer to the [Service Info → Transfer Information] page on the website to understand various modes of transportation and related details, including, to help you arrange your journey and transfer plans.

Q8: Does the Penghu Airport Express allow standing passengers (standing room only)? 
A8: No standing service is provided.

Q9: Am I permitted to bring pets on board? 
A9: Pets must be secured within a pet carrier or small container that is fully enclosed, preventing any leakage of feces or liquid, and ensuring the animal's head, tail, and four limbs do not protrude. Each passenger is limited to carrying one such item.

  • The aforementioned small animals must be kept close to the passenger and attended to carefully; they are not allowed on seats, luggage racks, or in the vehicle aisle.
  • Furthermore, to prevent the spread of avian influenza, passengers are prohibited from bringing poultry (such as commercial animals like chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys, quail, and ostriches). However, small pet birds are exempted, provided their carrier size and quantity comply with the preceding regulations.

Q10: How can I tell the difference between a standard bus and a wheelchair-accessible bus?      
A10: You can refer to the license plate information displayed on the "Bus Estimate" page to identify accessible services. Additionally, by checking the timetable link provided in the real-time bus information, a wheelchair icon next to the service indicates that it is an accessible mid-size bus.
