Siyanjing, officially named “Four-Hole Well,” is located at the northern end of Central Old Street in Magong. Dug in the early Ming Dynasty over 400 years ago, it is one of Penghu’s oldest wells and a designated historic site.
Originally a large open well, it was later covered for safety and order, with four round openings added for simultaneous water access—hence the name “Four-Eye Well.” The spring flows year-round and once served as a vital water source for locals.
